Very Clean Cuts
This manual saw is perfect for very precise cutting of semi rigid and flexible cable. It cuts with an accuracy of +/- .002 inch (0.0508mm). Longer lengths than 24 inches (610mm) can be processed but must be measured by hand. Cut time is one second and there is no significant burr left on the cable. The machine cuts flexible, conformable and semi rigid cable up to 0.250 inch (6.35mm) diameter.
Inexpensive Blades
The saw uses economical Slotting blades. The blades can be used for thousands of cuts. Typically more cuts will be possible with smaller cable than with larger cable.
Length Control
The sliding Digital Read Out Device provides easy adjustment to set the length of the cable to cut (up to 24 inches [610mm]). Length changes are graduated in 0.0005 inch (0.0127mm) increments. A “hard stop” assures extremely accurate repeatability.
