CUSTOM TOOLS

We maintain a complete machine shop and have several very talented designers on staff who, combined, have over 100 years of tool design experience.

FLRST has designed and produced many custom tools to our customers' requirements. We also customize our own stripping, pointing, and cutting tools for customer specific requirements.

The above illustrates the end result of one of the custom stripping tools made for one of our customers. Our designers and machinists have made tooling that cuts, strips, and bends cable with outer conductor diameter of .008" (0.2032mm) and center conductor diameter of .002" (0.0508mm).
